Whats the best item you have found on your beach.

just want to here from peeps who have found stuff on different beaches around the country to give me an idea of what i can expect obviously every beach is different but would be interesting what peeps have found.

You should be very proud of that, very rare occurance on our beaches
to be honest I hardly touch the beaches but I did find a ladies gold ring once

i once had a pile of rings like that sold them to pay for our wedding rings 3 years ago £2600 now when i come home and the wife asks when am i going to find something good i just point to the 3rd finger left hand. Thankyou blackpool beach i say.

Without a doubt a 1759 gold guinea, thought it was a gaming machine token at first,payed for my detector in one go, I was using a c scope 770 then ,wish they turned up every outing

reading this thread has made me jealous, nearest to water / beach i get is coventry canal, kids sandpit or stoney cove .....think i am in for a life time of finding beer cans and shopping trolleys
