Well what a day of interuptions, along with the heavy quick showers that kept making me run to the trees at the edge of the field,I think a lot of the day was spent talking to folks, first one of the farm workers stopped for a chat, but I didn't mind that as he gave me ideas of what other fields are being cut & when if the showers stop, twice I had ramblers asking what I've got & about the history of the area, then the gamekeeper drove up & he can & did talk for ages, mostly moaning about the buzzards eyeing up his chicks,
so in between chatting a few bits came out,a couple of old buckles,a complete ringing bell, another one of these livery buttons that I keep getting so must be local to here, 2 roman coins but only 1 good, a Charles II twopence 1679 that was worn as a charm & I think a jetton with a very hairy bloke/yeti on it!

Clint
