HELP - Lost Wedding Ring Porthmeor Beach St Ives

Hello

Sadly on 9th August (my 15th Wedding Anniversary to add insult to injury) I lost my Wedding ring while swimming on Porthmeor Beach, St Ives, Cornwall (I was about waist height and level with The Tate about 4pm, close to low tide). The ring is Welsh rose gold, and not of massive value (I think it cost around £200). I did see a number of people with metal detectors in the days before and wonder if you could please put me in contact with any of them if you know them? I know it is a long shot but you never know.

Hi Dave, yes that was me, the county sections are for people offering the service to find things, we don't allow lost posts to those sections so that it is very clear and easy to navigate and see who can possibly help there, hope you understand, of course anyone can offer to help from the forum, we have some restrictions for people offering help in those dedicated county areas, they have to have been a member here for so long and posted a certain amount of times to qualify.

Several members of my club,South West Searchers,are going to have a go and am hoping it gets found.
Had a bit of luck today with another lost ring ,that was closer to me,lets hope this one gets found too.
