I see they appear to be building a bypass around Winterbourne Abbas here... A few hundred yards south of the old Roman road - wonder if it will be possible to see the site manager and ask if I can pootle around on weekends... :-)

Unfortunately some of the land being used I have permission for and due to `elf `n safety even I`m
not allowed on it , so if I were you I`d wear full body armour, ear defenders & don`t forget
life & public liability insurance ! and offer the site agent a backhander. I was also told the agent
comes from Portland so DO NOT mention RABBITS, best of luck !
