Hello Phil, I guess it depends if your competent in doing these type of things? there are a few Youtube videos knocking about Explaining the process and it does not look over complicated, I have not had to do it myself so far but think I would have to see first how much it would cost if you send it off and then make up my mind.
Cheers

Hi Phill
Did the coil just stop working or was there any sign of it going.
My 13" coil lights up for 4 seconds and flashes 10 times quickly .
and it wont charge.
Did you have any thing like this happen to yours.
And were do you get the new battery from.
Any help would be great.
All the best Davy

Hi Phil
My battery came today so popped it in the coil just to try it out.
The light came on with the wee blink as it should.
And when I put the charger on, it light as it should with the always on bright light,
then flashed on and of at the full charge. HAPPY DAYS
Just have to get the rtv gasket sealer
just to be clear the battery compartment in the coil comes away from the coil easy.
getting the battery out of the battery compartment is the hard bit prepare to brake the side of the battery holder .
