Anyone know what operating system is used, Multi Frequency?? It seems that Minelab are now entering the lower priced market having remained firmly at the upper end of the market........
..........it took them long enough!! Looks very interesting though, we'll see. ::g ::g ss47

Certainly looks very different, although I guess it's the performance that will ultimately dictate if it's any good, or at least worth the price tag.

The units (40-60) turns your smartphone into a kind of a "remote control" offering coin ID (40), coin ID and google maps (60), and seems to be ground tracking, according to the ML spec sheet.

Entry-level was a niche where no Minelab detectors were to be found (maybe the 305, but not very popular). Offering such a technology in entry level models is a very good move !

The new 'Go-Find 'models: Is the operating system on all three models a closely guarded secret, :-SS because the 'Spec Sheet' is giving nothing away on this point. So I'll assume it's not going to be anything like the technology 'leap' that Multi-frequency/Broad Band Spectrum was. :-/ It would be nice to know so it could be assessed for Wet Sand use or not and I have to say it's not like Minelab to miss the opportunity to boast of a new and superior operating system for their new product range. The design and prices look appealing but without much info, I suppose we will have to remain like the proverbial 'Mushroom' - ss47
