std minelab 10" coil v/s sef10x12"

must be loads of you who have owned the 10" then upgraded to a sef 10 x12".
i would like honest opinions how you found the sef compared to the std coil.
more sensitive?
deeper? lighter?
better ground coverage ? more stable near emi ?
i,m assuming all above might apply but would like to hear it before throwing £120 at a coil thats only slightly different in size to what i have already .

i have the SEF 12x10 on my Explorer II and it's much better than the stock coil. Deeper and covers ground faster too of course.

Only down side is the weight issue as the Ex II is already a heavy machine to swing. Many use the Ultimate Coil which is a fraction bigger but lighter than the SEF I believe. The Ultimate is also a great coil.

i already have 18" x15" and 10"std.
i plan to buy a 8"(7.25" really)std and something to fit in the middle.
my options are 10"x12",12.5" accelerator,13" ultimate" ,14" accel pro,16.5" accel pro
this is for musketeer ,but any gain seen on a sov,exp should also be seen equally on musky .
i hadnt really considered the round coils ,because i read that elliptic was better choice ,but maybe some prefere round .
so now i would welcome all feedback on coils mentioned above from sov, exp, musky users.
i dont think i can get a 12" x 15" coz its not listed for musky or the original question would have been about 12" x 15".
are the butterfly coils more sensitive for thier sizes ?

I have the ex 2 with the standard coil but I haven't used it in years as I use the 13" Ultimate all the time.
Very sensitive, can use full sensitivity nice and smooth.
Yes it is also deeper and you can cover more ground.
I highly recommend it .
