F75 and coke...Help!

Postby dshepp78 » Tue Feb 21, 2012 8:35 pm

Right, been out a few times now with my f75 and i have come across a problem with coke!
I have been using default mode, with a sence of 60-70 and disc at 0.
Most of my permissions have a large amount of it and i am forever digging small or even large amounts of coke and it is realy starting to get on my wick.
Any help with this matter would realy be a great help to me.

Thanks
Dom

A large amount. Not good. I have found no way round the problem, about the only good thing about it is you can't detect it that deep.

Another frustrating thing about it is, that i get a two way sweep signal with it and a reading normaly of around 15- 40, so i feel that i have to dig it each time just in case :(

I know it sounds silly but if its that bad maybe whilst you out start picking the big bits up and get then off you field n make life easier for you
This is my metal detector
There are many like it, but this one is MINE.
My metal detector is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My metal detector without me is useless. Without my metal detector, I am useless....

Realy agree with you there, however my wife would not lol.
I have only recently purchased my f75 and that realy took alot of effort to get my wife to spare the money for it, as were also saving to go on our hols.
I realy like the F75 as it does have it plus sides, perhaps a little persistence and understanding may fix it :-/

It's the age old problem mate.... there's no perfect machine for all conditions(although Deus owners might argue there is) :D
Reckon it's just a case of 'grin & bear it' then....dont let the orrible black stuff beat you!

Best of luck m8

Try these settings, Disc 6, Sens 85-90, Notch 1, Mode PF/DE, most Coke will come in at 18-21, and is usually very shallow,,,, these settings will also find the goodies,..ok
