Hello everyone,
My name is Roy I am a Senior at only 72 years of age..and I have my first metal detector, a Garrett Euro Ace, is there anyone in the Helston area who could give me some tips on where to go (apart from the beach......) any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Welcome Roy, sorry cant help with your learning process (I use same detector but a very long way north in NE Scotland) but have many very happy memories of Helston, whilst based at Culdrose in the 80s, I met my wife there. Uncle Jock's cabin was a regular haunt for pasties and then there was the spingo........!! GL & HH.
As the Germans might say:-

Garrett EuroAce/Nel Tornado: 4.5 hammies, 1 Medieval Harness pendant (in Elgin Museum), 4 Gold rings, 2 watches, 34 Silver coins (+4 fake), 3 bag seal. Its early days!!
