Smaller coil?

Postby FunkyGibbon » Sun Feb 05, 2012 2:12 pm

Hi all, I've been thinking about purchasing a smaller coil for trashy areas, stubble fields, that sort of thing. Either the 10"x5" joey or the 8" tornado for my Sovereign GT. Currently using the standard 10" tornado coil.

I'm just wondering, how much of a difference will this make, particularly in trashy areas? Is it a noticeable difference? Is it worth it?

Thanks :)

I doubt the 8 inch will be suitable, that's still a general-purpose size coil. Ideally you should be looking for 4 - 5 inch coils for difficult areas.

Thanks, Fusion. I was thinking of the 5" little joey coil, only mentioned the 8" tornado as I saw one going cheapish. £140 is alot to spend and I really wonder if it's worth the money?
