New Deus on Virgin Pasture - Day One

Hi All,

Well.... here goes, trying out the new Deus on pasture (field two) that hasn't been detected on.
I wasn't even going to detect today, I'd just popped down to show the landowner the finds from field one and they moved their horse from field two to field one thinking I'd come down to detect field two! lol!
I felt guilty, so I said I'd nip home for the detector and have a couple of hours!!

Field two is right next door to field one which produced all the finds that the Fisher found the other week.
I re-did field one with the Deus and ended up with 443 coins in total and some superb artefacts.

Field two is slightly smaller than field one so will take a week or so to search so please bear with me!

Today I did a strip 20ft wide and 80ft long on field two.
I swapped between programs to see what effect that had compared to the custom "Pasture" program I was using.
The result was 25 coins, 6 decimal and 19 pre-decimal including a Cartwheel penny and a George V silver 3d and a copper decoration with a lamb & cross at the centre.
Has anyone any idea on the lamb & cross?

Your the one that gave me the "pasture" program to try out lol!!!!!

I toggled between GMP, Deus Fast, Gold MaxxIII etc etc.........

Nice finds there paul.
Looks like somebody has tried to make lamb chops seeing it has a cross stuck out of it.
Don't know what it is though.

I couldn't give you a good enough report to reach a decision, but I'll give it more focus now I'm on this new bit.
Have you found much difference?
I suppose it will vary with different ground conditions, target depth and orientation also any nearby iron etc.
