xp Deus Lite

Post by forest ferret »

Just wondering if any Deus Lite users are happy detecting with just the standard Deus settings?

I was thinking of upgrading from my F2 to a goldmaxx power, but maybe the Deus Lite is the way to go seeing that it's similar in price :-/

I have the full monty, but i do - when raining - leave the control box in my rucksack, and i find that the standard settings work just fine. You could even find someone in your area with the control box, sync it with your coil and headphones, change and save a more advanced setting, and then you could use that whenever you like ::g

Good luck with choosing ;) ::g

Cheers Sam, I think the machine will take me a while to understand even on standard settings :))
But when the time comes to do some tweeking, using someone elses control box, that'll be something to think about ::g

guildy, I was thinking secondhand but I'm little worried about not having a warrantry etc, got caught out with secondhand stuff that breaks more than once ;;z

I just found out that the Deus is being sold in France with the option of having the control box minus the head phones. It's 310 euros more than the 'lite' version, 1170 euros.
If anyone wants to check it out it's at Sud-Ouest Detecteurs. ::g

I could have upgraded again but decided to build myself a dedicated gaming PC and have just spent £1700 on it.....
With the wifes blessing of course and the fact she now has my laptop ::g

Go for the new Deus lite and add the control box as your next upgrade. The Deus ran just off the headphones with standard programms is still head and shoulders above most other machines in my oppinion.

Hi
I have the Deus without headphones. Got £300 off normal price.
Its brilliant, just with standard ear plugs and volume control.
I'm still in Basic 1and it finds just about everything.
I used to have Explorer SE but found it too technical and heavy!
Cheers and happy hunting.
