New Coil

Postby Rhoco71 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 9:24 pm

Evening
Just looking for advice on a potential coil upgrade for my Explorer Se Pro.
I am quite interested in the Detech Ultimate but also the SEF 12 X 15.

My mate is running a SEF 12 X 10 and I think it does have a slight edge over the standard Pro coil.

The Ultimate will take around 2 weeks to arrive but I can pick a second hand SEF up for just over a £100 and have it before the weekend.

Any opinions please.

Thanks
Steve

I have been thinking more about this and wondered what the weight differance will likey be on the big SEF.
Are these large coils useable all the time or do you swap between your available coils?

Ideally I would like an upgrade that stays on all the time.

I use the 10 x 12 sef on my se , but ultimate coil is a little better so if you not got the sef pay the extra for the ultimate, see the auction site for a very good price. I myself am after a small coil for stubble next month.
Current Whites M6 & Explorer se, had Whites xlt , minelab x2.
