"What's the benefit of having 4 frequencies?" not much to us minelab uses, we have 28 frequencies running at the same time

It's all about customising your machine to your site. I find 12 kHz a good balance for all my sites except a pasture where 7.5 gets me a little extra depth. If you have a site where theres little targets to find, such as cut quarters then 18 kHz will be more suited.

When you get your Deus do some testing and share your results with us.

The advantages of four single frequencies are infinite customisability,and faster processing.Multi frequency machines are slower in the processing department,so are not as effective in really trashy ground.That is why they say slow and low.A single frequency will grab the signal better(it doesn't have to spend 'time thinking about it') ;)
