I had to leave for a while for reasons of my other(BETTER Half's) traumas of undergoing major kidney surgery which obviously put Detecting furthest from my mind..I went as far as to sell up all my Detecting gear thinking that i was not going to be able to get out for obvious reasons.
However, she has made a remarkable recovery and now I'm in the process of starting to put together all he bits and pieces that us detectorist's need.
Just to say... IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK.!!!

Having similar instance with a few of my family members very recently, I nearly gave up and even said I was going to give up moderating this site
Let's say I've had a change of heart regarding both the hobby and moderating..I do need a little of both in my life
I was lucky enough to have kept all my gear tho, so no worries from that side.
I hope your good lady gets very well soon
