BBC 1 Night Hawking investigation.

Post by JBM »

BBC1 tonight after the one show at 7.30.800pm.

I saw a trailer this morning on Points West with footage of night vision cameras which had been strapped to trees on South Gloucestershire land.

Interviews with a farmer etc.

Should be worth watching. ;) Jerry.

Well worth watching even though some of the views given are controversial.

The cameras certainly picked out 3 faces. Jerry.

A small part was given over to the problem of Nighthawkers. The whole piece was handled fairly IMO with a couple of experts talking about how legal detecting has helped in safe guarding our heritage.
At the end 3 nighthawkers faces were shown. Anybody recognise them?

If so, please phone Crimestoppers. ::g

They showed my Bronze age spear tip on it (8mins 15secs in) without getting my permission... who should I sue. =)) ;)) It's a shame they didn't show much of Kurt Adams and edited that part a lot, as he was talking sense. ::g

I believe the location was Kingscote which is between Dursley and Tetbury (Gloucestershire). Being a Gloucester lad myself this really irks me. I refrained from swearing there ! String 'em up !
Cheers !
