Hi,
Give the standard stock coil a blast first and see how you get on. I use it at the moment and seems ok, though will upgrade at some point.
Is a heavy machine when out for over 5 hours - if you swap go for one same weight or lighter than stock.
Cheers & good luck.

Should I use the 10.5 stock coil or my 12.2 coil witch would give me best results on detecting ploughed land

it all depends how rough the plough is as you might want the smaller coil to get between the furrows defo the larger one on the flat if not to much iron in the ground as the machine will have to much ti cope with ,with the bigger coil as this machine is slower than most to process .if you can put up with the noise i would use it in all metal and fust take out -10 that way it will not be nulling out all the time and missing good targets
