getting a quattro tomorrow

Post by jimbotrucker » Wed Sep 04, 2013 11:15 pm

after a few visits to the beach up near blackpool I really enjoyed myself, I did think about selling my cs4 pi and my gmp to upgrade to an e trac but as I love my gmp I decided to just upgrade from the cs4 to the quattro. I did look at the safari but they seemed to go for about £100 more than the quattro and until I find loads of gold I think I will cope with the slower response speed :D I have read good things about both detectors so am living in hope of good things to come. if anyone is after a starter beach detector the cs4 is on our mdf auction site and the reserve is low ;)

had a quattro and really liked mine only changed it when i upgraded to an etrac ,but they are a perfectly capable detector on beach or land. just slow your swing speed down and they cope pretty well

Cheers for the comments lads, I never really thought about using it on land but now it is in the back of my mind I will have to give my pasture a go over just in case I missed a coin somewhere :D
