pasture settings

Hi, I usually hunt on beaches,but have been invited to a dig on pasture.Thing is I have not done pasture ,so could any one please help with settings. I have a sovereign xs 2a pro ,with ultimate coil thank you

Same as beach..but it will depend on how mineralised the ground is.It won't squeal like it does on the beach when your sens is too high but will null as if you're over iron all the time.Some pasture can be fine and you can open the sens right up,move a few yards and you're reduced to working in auto or even all metal and flipping back to disc to check each signal.
If the ground is 'good' and nice and wet it can be very deep ::g
...if it's bad you start to think of getting a second detector :))
