silver ring

Dug when using with the Multi Kruzer. It's ugly but the 925 stamp makes it a sweet find.

Yes,I am warming up to it but I am feeling a bit of a fool as well. There is quite a bit of gold with the silver in the ring, the odd thing was that I was getting a short signal 77-81 one way on scanning the target but usually much lower, if I widened my coil movement or turned on the sweep, It would fall off to the lower 41 -60 and above signals that I regularly got while rotating on the target while sweeping. I picked 3 ring pulls out of the same hole and the ring. On another forum a person asked if it rang up like a quarter but it didn't. I just thought to scan the ring by itself and it reads a 58,I'm guessing the gold is pulling the silver reading down ? Now for feeling a fool part, I think I left a silver coin behind. I think the coil was hitting a silver dime in the same area, 77-81 is exactly where a silver dime will fall on id. Is three tones separation that good on a makro machine to distinguish a dime with 4 other targets ?I never scanned the hole again, once I found the ring. I am headed back this morning to find out. :-SS
