Dumfries and Galloway beaches

Just had a call from the wife at work and she has booked a week away for us staying in gatehouse of fleet hopefully some beaches to detect any suggestions be appreciated

Ive been researching the beaches near gatehouse of fleet look like some cracking beaches to detect on, so looking forward to next week. ::g

All along the Dumfries coast has seen a lot of activity from our friends across in Ireland, Vikings and Roman, so with that in mind good luck
