Newbie detectorist....

Post by sonar » Sat Sep 10, 2011 12:12 pm

Hi all ,

I'm from the Renfrewshire area and new to detecting. I have a Bounty Hunter as i'm just learning just now , but am hoping to upgrade in the near furure. Looking for a local buddy to go metal detecting as i'm still a bit green. Only really detected local beaches though but would like to do some land detecting. :)

Hi sonar & welcome to the forum, you'll find plenty of advice & expertise on my opinion it's the best place to get plenty of knowledge! B-)

I kicked off with a Bounty Hunter, not a bad machine at all once you get the hang of it [:)
Minelabbed to the bone!

Eagles may soar on high but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines!
