I also can't find tide timetables on the web far enough ahead. Anybody know when low is on 25th Oct? By my reckoning it must be about midday?
Thanks for the help. Not asking directions to your treasure spots, just a bit of local info so I know which machine to bring and if I will have to do the drive to Blackpool or if the sands at Southport offer some fun.

Yep hav multi freq. and a pi, but will only bring one.
Blackpool was ok at low with the pi.
Just not been to southport.
Going to watch this storm today, hopefully some local sands to me will move a bit.

When I was a kid they used to park all their cars on it.It is huge.
In the 1920's Sir Henry Segrave broke the World land speed record there as the beach is so vast.
