New to Metal detecting

Post by False Bay hunter » Wed Nov 07, 2018 4:01 pm

Ive recently started this cool hobby, and mostly working the beaches and shoreline with my Garrett Sea Hunter Mk2. Ive mostly been finding scrap and a few coins up on the towel line, my last outing i went to one of my favourite fishing spots to recover some lead and collected around 7kg in a hour or so, I was really happy to make my first "valuable" find of a thick chunky silver chain, it appears to have been in the sea for a very long time and i only found a piece of it. Hoping to make some more good finds soon!
