I have also bumped into 'internet metal detectorists' by accident - it was quite an odd experience!

Always a pleasure to talk to the competition, especially when you've already 'met' them online. ::g The day was perfect for wandering around on a sandy beach away from the crowds but there really wasn't much about. In about 2 hours I got around a dozen and a half coins for £2. You can always tell when it's slow because I even dig the iron centred coppers just to be digging something. :D
