Lots of fishing weights

Post by Stillburning » Mon Nov 26, 2018 2:58 pm

Took the Nox to the beach on Saturday, most areas were very sanded up and I was only finding scraps of aluminium.

I walked round to a rocky area to see if anything had been trapped, the only coins were a 1p and 2p but lots of fishing weights, some great DIY efforts!

A few I can re-use but most to be weighed in, I always enjoy a session digging something thats not complete rubbish. It is an area I will go back to as on a previous session on a similar area on the same beach I found a gold ring in amongst the lead.

Thanks for looking ::g

x; Blimey ... Wonder what the effect is on the fish stocks and on all the other undersea creatures [from lost fishing lead weights], all around the world? x;

rl; Although I have to admit to having lost a more than a few lead weights myself over many years of beach fishing ...
