Bag seal?

Found this on ploughed and rolled today, ferry hard lead possibly, it would have been about 20 mm diameter when whole, it looks like a 6 pointed star with Bra...... Can't see the rest unfortunately, I'm assuming it's a bag seal but any info gratefully received, Q40 on Rings and 3-4 inches deep

Yes it looks like a bagseal

Leeds phosphate used the star of David

Not that i have seen that exact design but then again they rarely produced two seals the same

Similar ones turn up here in Cheshire with something like Apex on them

Sometimes you get lucky and are able to read a factory. Often Germany

Sometimes says seed or fertilizer I have one that had guano on it which i found interesting to reasearch

Normally not that old around 1900 onwards



Take no notice of the Kosher meat seal on the database
