Can Anyone ID This Copper Item? ID Supplied - Medieval Knife Terminal

Post by Bottlecapking » Wed Jun 13, 2018 12:30 pm

Hi All,

I found this item in a field that has yielded finds dating from Roman to Victorian times.

It's not an important or particularly decorative item, but I am puzzled by it, and would love to know what it's from.

It's not big, 1x1x0.5cm , and would appear to have been mounted on something iron.

Any assistance would be gratefully received.

Found on ploughed land a couple of inches down, using T2SE S75, D10, T2+

I'm sorry about the quality of the pics.

Regards

BCK
