Evening All,
Found this today - cut barley Herts, almost surface find... ( conditions: wet and horrible - was quite getting used to hot tanning weather don't mind how hard the ground is!)
About 30mm wide - cast copper alloy cast I reckon.... looks more complete than I thought at first and definite signs of some gilding that you can't see in photos...
Any knowledge much appreciated and gratefully accepted

Possibly a Saxon/Medieval mount. Has the area got any form?
