Very worn coin

Post by obsession18 » Wed Oct 10, 2018 12:22 pm

Hi Everybody,

Another long shot for ID please of a coin found within an old charcoal hearth in ancient woodland.

It measures 27mm and is a coppery/bronze colour.

If anyone has any clues I would be really grateful!

Many Thanks.

Right size for a George II / George III Halfpenny they often come up with no detail on them. You will collect quite a few during your detecting life.
