small stone
some years back when digging a signal I found this stone can anyone please give advise please I realise the photos are not to good but the the best just will not let me up load . Thanks for any input

I think it is a natural ordinary sandstone. Weathered and worn enough to make it look like something else.
I’ve got a 3 cornered one that I was convinced was in the early stages of becoming a stone axe. Makes a nice addition to my garden feature
Sandstone isn’t a 1st choice for tools. It isn’t durable enough, like sand paper, a few good rubs and it’s gone, plus it breaks easily.

Small stone?? looks like a big un from here, what would be the distinguishing features that brought your attention to it? Looks like a broken pebble.

It just appears to be a broken stone to me.
