tiny Tasciovanus silver...?

Post by HolzHammer » Mon Nov 19, 2018 9:05 am

Morning All,
Found this very near surface disced field , Herts. Not much to write home about on the reverse I'm afraid and I also gave it a tiny zap with the spit and tin foil which has brought out a bit more definition and has certainly not degraded it further I am pleased to report.
I think it might be Tasciovanus and the area of the UK it was found I think supports that too...
Any Knowledge much appreciated!!
I don't think I am due any more nice coins until March 2025... #rats!
All the B
Alexander

I think it's SEGO. Sure I can see an 'O' in tablet on the obverse? ::g

Thanks Allectus - short of electrolysis ( which I am a bit nervous of, though I know I am dealing with an expert!) any suggestions to seeking out a bit more detail of the reverse?
