Two pieces

Post by Curtains dave » Tue Dec 04, 2018 10:00 pm

Found this curious item in two pieces.
It was found on pasture a couple of inches deep with my Deus on Gary’s hot programme.
Any help with an ID would be appreciated.

Thanks for the ID and as that seems to be the only reply I guess it may be a Victorian brooch.

Could be interesting to get closeup from the top of the item.. It almost sseems like it have been "Thimble" shaped before it was flattened.. If so it might not be a brooch.. Dating I do stand by

I think that it may be the remains of a Victorian posy holder with the back and the bottom part missing. :-/
