3 hammereds looking for ID confirmation

Post by djm666 » Thu Dec 06, 2018 6:19 pm

A very good day with the nox last weekend, I picked up 3 hammereds. I am looking for confirmation that my IDs are correct or corrections thereof.
007-22s.jpg
Henry III voided long cross cut 1/4 Class 5 (based on henric looking to start at 9 o'clock). Monier Willem. Monier + class combination I think will make it London or Canterbury mint
007-23s.jpg
Edward IV second reign half penny, London mint. I think the mintmark is a cinquefoil dating it to 1476-83
007-24s.jpg
I think this is a Henry II Tealby cut half penny. Can't say much more than that about it.

Tealby looks to be Bust A1 (1158-61) Trefoil of pellets between mantle and hand.(Ref JJNorth page 217 number 952/1)
Henry III Voided as you say Willem it's a class 5a or 5b as the central fleur splits the E & N in the legend, pity we can't see the ''R'' as it would tell us if it's ''a''or ''b'' (wedged or pellet toe) it's Canterbury I believe as willem starts at 5c @ London in the JJNorth.
would agree with your ID on the Edward IV spink 2137 I'm thinking (1480-83) we will see what Mr A gives out of 10 when he comes on mate! Lol....... (Well found BTW:-)
