Edward I and John pennies + an artefact for ID + a slver thimble

Post by Giz » Thu Dec 06, 2018 8:23 pm

Out this afternoon on a recently ploughed field outside my house, a little sticky after the recent rain, close to a Roman estuary, second silver thimble within 2 weeks this one has no markings does this mean this one is modern?. The artefact has what looks like an eye at the top ( I realise the photo is poor), unfortunately I manage to break this in two. B| I would like ID's on the hammereds please. I had to anneal the short cross as this was well folded. Not good at identifying hammereds other than that the Short cross could be Henry 11, Richard 1, John or Henry111 early part of his reign and the long cross could be Henry 111 later part of his reign, or one of the Edwards other than that I'm lost rl;

Deus fast slightly modified by reducing:
Discrimination to 1, Full tones
Sensitivity 90, TX power 2

11 inch coil
Version 3,2
Ta for looking ::g
