fossil, insect, leaf, etc. ID service and link to guides

Post by WVAM »

prompted by dep1699's curious lump of metal it reminded me that as a kid I'd take specimens to the Geological and Survey museum in London. Well the service appears to still exist and more for other things we might find or see while out detecting or just in the countryside.

The MDF forum is terrific for ID's of all sorts but I thought the link could provide a useful adjunct.
