Caracalla denarius...?

Post by HolzHammer » Thu Jan 10, 2019 7:16 pm

Evening All,
I found a couple of really cool Roman coins today - disced field, Herts about 3/4" - here is the first:
definitely the trickier of the two but i think me cracked it! Its a Caracalla denarius (fragment obvs), Mars reverse.
The certainty I feel about this means I am 97.5 % likely to be shot down ( by you know who amongst others!) so any knowledge gratefully received and much appreciated!
All the B
Alexander
