Pot leg or bronze axe head fragment?

Post by jondurandsilver » Thu Jan 10, 2019 10:12 pm

Hi folks my mate believes this is a pot leg but I'm not so sure.
So I'd like to call on the collective as I'm sure someone has come across this predicament before!

Thanks A for clearing it up for me,
Although it didn't look like the axe head that I have been lucky enough to find, I'm sure I've seen something similar described as a axehead fragment.

How many hammered coins in 2019? Are you cheating? You do know it’s only the 10th jan ?!
2019 hammies. = 9 (including quarters, halves and broken)
Saxon = 0
Celtic. = 0
Silver denarius = 1
Gold Roman = 0
Gold ring. = 0

Yes I am doing well, but as my teacher used to say: "could do better".
I'm sure to hit a barren patch as we all do but fingers crossed.
Aim high swing low!
P.S seven hammies and a lovely denarius ain't too shabby either.
