First dig - help with ID please

Post by KJH123 » Sun Feb 10, 2019 9:51 pm

We went on our first official dig today on farmland in Anglesey, North Wales. Not expecting them to be anything spectacular but intrigued to know what they are if anyone can help. Many thanks, Kim.

They look farm machinery related, need more pictures, at least 2 of each item different sides and some more info if you want a good response, the more you give the more you receive

Edit......and a decent scale, what's the coin?? A measure is good for scale be live it or not

I can see from th FIVE PENCE :D The 2nd item isn’t very big. It looks like a lever lock. Sorry if that’s not the correct name for it. I know what I mean and what it does but not what everyone else might call it :D

The second item looks very much like the trigger/catch from a gin images of "gin trap" and take a look at the catch that holds the jaws down when its set.
