Strange lead thingy

Post by krip2454 » Thu Mar 14, 2019 9:32 am

Here's a tricky one. The top half appears to be lead, but as for the bottom, not sure. Nobody seems to have a clue as to what this strange object is. Old, modern?

Yes on first glimpse of It, a brake block entered my thoughts. Is that a trace of black rubber at the bottom level ? Wouldn`t stake my life on the Roman bit, but could be quite an early one of early 1920`s or 30`s possibly .Just a guess mind.

Yeah, okay folks, it does look like an old brake block, but the bottom half isn't made of rubber. Perished or otherwise.

*(:)# *(:)# *(:)# *(:)# *(:)# =)) =)) =)) I should have known not to trust my erstwhile detctorists to come up with a serious answer. Fair to play though, it did make me laugh.
