Curious Lead item

Post by TheAndyA » Fri Mar 15, 2019 7:35 pm

I found this one in a Rapeseed stubble field, I think it was around 5 or 6 inches deep in the soil. It showed as 29 on the Equinox display.

Initially I though it may have been something modern, but it does appear to be made of Lead. It's a rather odd shaped item and the only thing that I can think of (with my very limited experience), is that it may possibly be some sort of Pot Mend? I'm only thinking that due to the bulge on the top and I'm probably mistaken.

Thanks for taking a look.
