Heraldic Stud Rather Than Pendant??

Post by Vosenos II » Sat Apr 13, 2019 7:54 pm

Hi all..
Out with Cantiaci in our usual permission today. Was pleased and surprised to find this little heraldic thing. I can only assume that its a leather stud rather than a harness pendant?
Lovely blue enamel remaining and maybe a touch of red in there. Unfortunately, apart from the diagonal lines, I can't make out quite whats on there. Presumably a coat of arms?....

SORRY TRIED TO EDIT PHOTO AS COULD ONLY PUT ON ONE PIC? ... FLICKR LINK https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/?

I don’t think you are resizing the pictures? See this topic for some guidance...viewtopic.php?f=120&t=109921

I think the pics were slightly oversize.. guide says 'Maximum size permitted is 600 pixels (width) x 850 pixels (height) and the actual file size of the image cannot exceed 300kb'

Just had message from Mrix to say 590 x 590, done a trial post and it worked ok.. ::g

Flickr is really easy for embedding pictures. Go to the picture you want to share, click the arrow in the bottom right of the screen, select the BBCode tab, change the size to medium, 500 x 389, copy the text and paste into the post. I delete everything after the first [/url] bit.

Here is mine. It is a shield shape mount from what I can find.
