I found these two lead objects on an area of rough grazing in Argyll, Scotland.
The larger item was about 10 inches deep in a wet, boggy area. It weighs 141 grams, almost exactly 5 ounces, so maybe a weight? It is hollow and contains a small quartz pebble which is too big to fit through the opening, so I'm assuming it's meant to be in there.
The small piece was found near a ruined homestead. It weighs 4 grams and has the letters IRAY, although the first letter may not be complete so could be an H? The lettering looks quite old to me.
Both found with my trusty old Whites M6.
Thanks for looking, Ewan
