Age of button (land owner interested in field)

Post by Davies13 » Sat May 18, 2019 10:06 pm

Hi

I find hundreds of buttons but wanted to know if anyone had an idea on the age of this one? The land owner is really interested in the history of his land but in the short time I had, this was the only find of note. I said I'd try and find out the age for him.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It's missing one of the main diagnostic bits, the shank. From the photos it could be either Stuart or Victorian onwards.
