Longcross help and the not so glamorous junk finds

Post by Lowland » Mon May 20, 2019 9:17 am

Morning,
Thought it was worthwhile putting a picture of the not so Great finds from yesterday ,
Just in case anybody thought I just go for a stroll and cut half’s are sitting on top of molehills :D
This was 4 hours hoovering an area that’s had a few runs across it but not been cleared
By a long shot-obviously!
The iron chain links signal sounded like big coins in a cauldron :-O
Came up from at least ten inches.
The crude spindle whorl is nice.
Any help pinning down the long cross to a mint and class would be brilliant.
I think it’s a class 3.
The star andcrescent are nice and clear after the III.
Many thanks ::g
