Candle snuffer or something else?

Post by Paulandmaz »

Hi All
I found this on pasture land in Essex over the weekend.
A good 5 or 6 inches deep.
I think it's the end of a candle snuffer without the long handle. A bit damaged as you can see.
If there any other ideas of what it may be please comment. If it's a candle snuffer can someone date it for me please.
Cheers
Paul.
