Help identifying find please

Post by Tommy h1 »

Hi can anyone identifying this copper alloy find please and give me any idea of age? I found it last night on a new permission I've been on a couple of times now where I have found a few of the usual stuff, Georgian coins being the oldest but nothing older I think. I'm trying to get some idea of age of the stuff that's there so any help would be much appreciated. It was found about 7 inches down on pasture. Thanks for anything helpful in advance.

PAS normally have them as 1700 to 1900.
Similar to yours,

Have found a couple of the taps myself but never the key.
