Nail ID (Highly exciting!)

Post by Norfolkwalker1 » Thu Aug 10, 2017 5:11 pm

Hi all,

Found this copper alloy nail recently with little purposefully made bumps on it. Just wondering whether it was possible to date such an object? Not the most exciting I'D you'll have today I'm sure but was just curious really!

Pics should be viewable on following link:

Thanks for any help you can give.

Try Dick Jones (unless you get an ID here) on treen@ebonyblackwood.plus.com He knows far too much about nails!

Followed your photobucket link and got loads of ads. I probably wouldn't follow a PB link again.

Like the pictures of the stone tools - some lovely examples - well done.

Cheers,

Chris
