Top one looks like a Henry VIII groat. Very nice indeed. ::g They came out very nicely but some sort of indication of size is needed also so further details of the circumstances of the find. :)

Lovely finds but please do take the time to read The Hammy Code which offers guidelines on what information is needed for a good ID topic, so that ALL forum members can attempt a good ID and have more details of the machine, settings etc. Cheers, Liam :;@

Great finds and nice clear pics. As an extra tip you could even crop more of the background out and make them a bit larger to about 590 pixels wide. ::g

Holly Moses. They are truly impressive coins. I really want to hear the story behind finding them and the detector etc as it makes a great find a fantastic find and I’m sure everyone else is feeling the same.

Fantastic finds, well done. Do you think old Henry was in a bad mood when they struck that portrait? He seems to be scowling (or is that just my imagination)? He looks a bit like Donald Trump!
It's great when you find such good stuff isn't it?

Loving the groat, that's in such good condition. Are you going to straighten the penny or leave it as is?

My advice would be to NOT try and straighten the Saxon penny. One that I found was so brittle that it broke when I was just holding it and gently brushing the surface with my fingers.
