Piece of Iron Junk
Found on waterlogged pasture using a F1265x.
Having dug a spade down I thought oh no another alloy can.
Worse I then saw the dreaded brown stain in the soil.
Decided to crack it open anyhow having carried it home.
first I thought it was a sickle or scythe but having a D shape section it would have an edge on both sides
Feel I should know this one being as I am an iron magnet

Looks like the snapped off point of a plough or other agricultural tool.

I always crack them open if they weigh a lot less then their size. You never know. I have found a sixpence in one iron ball.
